Holy Haagen-Dazs!! I tried on my wedding dress yesterday, and granted it probably wasn't a good idea to do so after indulging in Moo Shu Chicken with plum sauce and Chinese pancakes, but the dress did not fit. I repeat, my wedding dress does not fit now!

That's right, I can't even zip it up all the way. So not fair!!! How can the universe be so cruel? But I took the hint and got my apprently ever-expanding butt on the elliptical yesterday and I did weights. A routine it looks like I will need to keep up with if I have any hopes of fitting into the dress by my wedding day.

So who votes for me just buying a new wedding dress?

but wouldn't it be cheaper to get it altered? Less money spent the less stressful... right?

PC- I'm seriously considering it. I'm going to give myself until the end of May or early June. But I'm worried at this point it would be too late. Hopefully once this semester is over I can start getting my lazy butt back on the elliptical consistently.

Christie- I know it's not a problem to alter the dress to make it smaller, but larger...then run into problems with not having enough material. I keep hearing horror stories from people. Arrgh, why can't the damn thing just fit. :) Checked out your site btw, very cool! I like the banner!

Don't worry, you'll get in shape in time! And don't they sell corsets or something that cinch you up really tight? I thought girls had all kinds of tricks like that....

This is why brides have bridesmaids... they stuff you into your dress and MAKE it fit. Also, the tighter the dress, the less you have to worry about your posture. Who could even think about slouching when fat and fabric combine to form a cement-like back brace. Or at least that's what happened to me...

ACK... I can't believe I am gonna be the voice of reason considering I have a tummy ache from too many brownies, but... STEP AWAY FROM THE HAAGEN DAAS. ;)

IamJonas- I know there's things that will suck and tuck stuff in. But it would nice if I could breathe comfortably on my wedding day. I know...crazy thought isn't it.

K- Haha! Five ladies against one zipper. Yeah, we so have it covered. Who needs dieting? hehe!

Amy- Mmm...brownies. How can you talk about brownies in the same breathe you're telling me to diet. So not fair woman! :) Isn't this what liposuction is for. hehe!
